The first time I encountered water was around the age of 3. Since then, my journey in the aquatic environment began, which has not stopped until today. At first, it was a sport, then it became a passion.

Results did not delay to appear, so at the age of 7, I participated in my first competition and managed to achieve the performance of becoming a multiple municipal champion in Bucharest. Feeling the adrenaline of the competition, I began to like it more and more. At the age of 10, I became a national champion.

I was selected for the national team, participated in numerous national and international competitions, which I also won. I have always admired this sport, especially knowing how beneficial it is for physical and mental development. Determination and passion directed me to successfully complete the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. Later, I completed the Training and Development Course for Coaches and have been practicing this profession with pleasure for over 13 years.

"More than 20 years have passed since my first encounter with a swimming pool, and I can confidently say that the 'love at first session' has not diminished to this day. As a competitive athlete, I have achieved numerous awards both nationally and internationally, standing on every step of the podium.

As this aquatic journey is far from over for me, I have decided to pass on all the secrets of swimming that I have acquired as a competitive athlete and as a student in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport."

- Multiple national and international champion in the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle events.
- Multiple national champion in the 50m and 100m butterfly events.
- Member of the national team for European competitions.
- Multiple awards at the national level in open water competitions.

I enjoy every bit of my swimming career!

"I was only 6 years old when I went to the pool for the first time. It all started as a playful activity that turned into a passion. The results achieved over the years, both in the pool and open water, motivated me to work harder and study more to become the best version of myself. Currently, I am affiliated with the Sports Club of the Army, Steaua Bucuresti, and at the same time, I continue my university studies.

Achievements:
- Multiple national and international champion in the 100m and 200m breaststroke, 200m and 400m freestyle, and 200m and 400m individual medley from 2011 to the present.
- Multiple champion in open water competitions in the 5 km event from 2014 to the present.
- 2nd and 3rd place at the World School Championship in 2015 and 2017.
- 2nd and 3rd place at the Balkan Championship in 2016 in the 200m breaststroke and 400m individual medley.

Being a patient and passionate individual, I am very attentive to ensuring both communication and strong motivation during lessons for self-improvement, along with a sense of safety and enjoyment. I look forward to welcoming you at Pescariu Sports&Spa!"

"You are only one swim away from a good mood!" Swimming is an excellent choice for staying active throughout the year! Swimming is an activity that brings a multitude of benefits, from physical to mental and social. It provides excellent cardiovascular exercise, tones your muscles, aids in weight loss, and strengthens your lungs. Understanding and practicing swimming can truly enhance your life.

- Swimming is the only sport that children can engage in from a very young age, two or three years old or even earlier. It stimulates their appetite, promotes restful and peaceful sleep, makes them more resilient, and develops their flexibility.

- If you are pregnant, swimming is ideal for you, with your doctor's approval, of course! It ensures a smooth pregnancy, being one of the safest forms of exercise. You can start in the morning, as it helps alleviate nausea and provides you with plenty of energy for the entire day.

I began competitive swimming, following a family tradition, as my father was an outstanding water polo coach. At the age of 5, I won several medals in domestic competitions. When I was 12, I started playing water polo for the newly established Brancoveanu team, and together, we won the national title. Shortly after this achievement, I was selected for the national team and transferred to the Steaua Bucharest club.

With the club team, we managed to secure the national title after a fierce battle with Dinamo. The following season, I was selected for the Dinamo team, and once again, we won the national title. At the age of 24, I had to retire from competitive sports due to an injury. I decided to pass on what I learned in my 19 years of experience, so I graduated from the International Coaching School.

For the past 10 years, I have been teaching swimming for all ages and skill levels. I enjoy what I do, and that's why I believe desired results are achieved with patience, calmness, and a positive attitude.
