Am inceput inotul de performanta urmand o traditie de familie, tata fiind antrenor emerit de polo pe apa. La varsta de 5 ani, am castigat cateva medalii la competitii interne.

La 12 ani am inceput sa joc polo pe apa la echipa Brancoveanu, o echipa nou infiintata, iar impreuna am reusit sa castigam titlul national. La scurt timp dupa aceasta performanta, am fost selectionat in echipa nationala si transferat la echipa de club Steaua Bucuresti.

Cu echipa de club am reusit sa cuceresc titlul national, dupa o lupta apriga cu Dinamo.

Sezonul urmator, am fost selectionat de echipa Dinamo, cu care am castigat din nou titlul national.

La varsta de 24 de ani, am renuntat la sportul de performanta din cauza unei accidentari. Am decis sa transmit mai departe ceea ce am invatat in cei 19 ani de experienta, asa ca am absolvit Scoala de Antrenori, acreditata international.

De 10 ani predau inotul pentru toate varstele si nivelurile.

Imi place ceea de fac si de aceea consider ca rezultatele dorite se obtin cu rabdare, calm si buna dispozitie.

I started competitive swimming following a family tradition, as my father is a retired water polo coach. At age 5, I won several medals in national competitions. At 12 I started playing water polo for Brancoveanu, a newly established team, and together we won the national title.

Shortly after this performance, I was selected for the national team and moved to Steaua Bucuresti. With this club I managed to win the national title, after a fierce battle with Dinamo.

Next season, I was selected by Dinamo, with whom I won the national title again.

At age 24, I quit professional sport due to injury. I have decided to pass on what I learned in 19 years of experience, so I graduated from the internationally accredited School of Coaches.

I’ve been teaching swimming for ten years for people of all ages as well as for children with disabilities. I love what I do and practice the profession with passion; I believe that the desired results are achieved with patience, calm and good humour.
